Will you please help me so I can provide my children with Christmas? It has been a terrible year both financially and emotionally. My Mother passed after a long and hard battle with Ovarian Cancer on October 4th 2011. My partner of twenty years has left us; I have no other place to turn for help.
I am a single mother of two; one boy and one girl and I am a disabled student at the Junior College level. I have been stuck at the college level for the past 18 months due to my inability to pass my Math Statistics Course. I am no longer eligible to receive any type of grants, loans or scholarships. I am now required to pay for my college supplies and expenses. I dream of completing, so I can transfer to the State level.
The limited resources I did have were used on gas so I could travel back and forth between my Mothers in Monterey County and class here in Sonoma County. There were often times I had no gas to even see my Mother in those last weeks, it was heart-breaking but I utilized every dollar I had. I know my Mother is proud of me for going back to school and I promised her I would finish my education. I also promised my children a better future.
Santa, we have really been through a rough time this year; please help my son and daughter to have a Christmas. My children are in need of new shoes, clothes, toiletries and lunch items. Santa please help us.
